Cookie policy
Effective 20 May 2026 · Last updated 20 May 2026
This policy explains how Eddric Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on the Eddric platform. We use only the cookies necessary to deliver a secure, functional experience.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixel tags — serve comparable purposes. References to "cookies" here include all of them.
2. How we use cookies
Eddric uses a minimal set of cookies focused on functionality and security. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising, retargeting, or selling data.
Strictly necessary — Authentication tokens, CSRF protection, preference storage.
Functional — Session state (last tab viewed, filter selections), form state preservation.
Analytics — Privacy-respecting only. We do not use Google Analytics or any service that shares data with advertising networks.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Local storage | Authentication session | Session / 7 days |
| theme | Local storage | Light/dark preference | Persistent |
| cookie-consent | Local storage | Records your consent | 12 months |
4. Third-party cookies
We do not embed social media widgets, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. Where third-party services are essential (authentication, hosting), their cookies are governed by their privacy policies. We do not permit third parties to use cookies on our Platform for their own advertising or profiling.
5. Managing your preferences
Browser settings — Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies. Disabling necessary cookies will break the Platform.
Local storage — Clear via browser developer tools or by clearing all site data.
Analytics — If deployed, an in-platform toggle lets you opt out.
6. Do Not Track
There is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals. We do not currently respond to them. Our minimal cookie practices already align with their intent.
7. Changes
Material changes will be communicated in-platform with an updated "Last updated" date.
